Justice For Amilcar Perez Lopez killed in #SF Mission District on February 26 by two plain clothes officers by the name of Craig Tiffe and Eric Reboli. The officers walked into a situation where Amilcar was chasing after a bicyclist who had stolen his phone. The officers immediate labeled Amilcar as the suspect and shot him dead. To justify the killing, SFPD stated that he was in the process of stealing a bicycle but this claim has been rejected by a number of witnesses. Amilcar was an immigrant from Guatemala living and working in The Mission. His household has been facing eviction which continues to be a major issue with communities of color in San Francisco. Police violence has been closely associated with Gentrification which has resulted in a number of other SFPD related killings in The City.
